‘ARTISTIC VOYAGE TOWARDS A DAWN SANS WAR’

Sharing in a common space, the proposals presented in the seminar  with a theme of ‘ARTISTIC VOYAGE TOWARDS A DAWN SANS WAR’  held with an objective of creating reconciliation among the ethnic groups in Sri Lanka And developing Art sector, especially Drama and Threatre sector for constructive projects.

An event of seminar and drama performance by the title of ‘Artistic Voyage towards a dawn sans war’ was held on 02.10.2016 in sessions, one in the morning and one in the evening at the Auditorium of the Jaffna Public Library jointly organized by the Active Theatre Movement and the USAID/Spice programme. Nearly 100 people, including Drama Artists, Media persons, and Educationalist participated in this event and presented their opinions. Thus, the discussion centered on, how the Drama and Theatre Art could be developed to create reconciliation in the future among the ethnic groups. On the basis of the discussion 20 proposals were identified. With a view to constructive efforts in the future, we would like to share theses proposals. with Tamil Parliamentarians, Northern Provincial Council, High Commissions on foreign countries, International fund donors, Local and foreign Non Government Organizations, Media Organizations, journalists, Artistic establishments, Universities, Tamil Diaspora, Political Parties, Civil Society Organizations and the Art and Cultural Organizations of Sri Lankan Government.

Background of the Seminar.

As people of a nation which had been confronted with a long war and had suffered the cruelty, sorrows and tribulations, of it, we the Sri Lankans have a big duty and responsibility to create and hand over to our future children and Society, an earth sans war. We should ensure that, another war will not happen between the ethnic groups. We all had to work hard to acheve this goal.

நல்லூர் நாடகத் திருவிழா 2015

நல்லூர் நாடகத் திருவிழா 2015 சிறப்புற நடந்து முடிவடைந்தது. 12 நாட்கள் இருபத்தியொரு பல்வகை நாடகங்கள் நாற்பது ஆற்றுகைகள். இதுவொரு வரலாற்று சாதனையென்றே சொல்லலாம். இறுதி இரண்டு நாட்கள் மட்டுமே பத்து நாடகங்கள் மேடையேற்றப்பட்டன. இறுதி நாளன்று வடக்கு மாகாண ஆளுநர் பங்கேற்றிருந்தார். அன்றைய தினம் நிகழ்வின் இறுதியில் இரவு 10.00 மணிக்கு கூடிவிளையாடு பாப்பா நாடகத்தை மேடையேற்றினோம். அந்த நாடகத்துக்காகவே சிறுவர்கள் ஆவலோடு காத்திருந்து நாடகத்தின் இடையிடையேயும் முடிவிலும் மேடையில் ஏறி தாமும் நாடகத்தில் ஒரு பங்காகியது மெய்சிலிர்க்க வைத்தது. கிட்டத்தட்ட முப்பது ஆண்டுகள் கடந்தும் குழந்தை ம. சண்டுகலிங்கம் எழுதிய நாடகம் சிறுவர்கள் மற்றும் பெரியவர்கள் மத்தியில் இவ்வளவு வரவேற்பைப் பெறுவது ஆச்சரியமளிக்கிறது. ஒரு சிறந்த கலைப்படைப்பு காலத்துள் வாழுமென்று சொல்வது இதைத்தானோ? படங்களில் சிறுவர்களின் குதூகலிப்பைப் பாருங்கள்!!!!

‘தேடல்’ நாடக அரங்கியலுக்கான அறிவுப் பகிர்வுக் களம்

நாடகத்துறைசார்ந்த கருத்தாடல்களையும் பகிர்வுகளையும் விருத்தி செய்வதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு ‘தேடல் ’; நாடக அரங்கியலுக்கான அறிவுப் பகிர்வுக்களம் ஒன்றை ஈழத்தின் முன்னணி நாடக நிறுவனமான செயல் திறன் அரங்க ஆரப்பிக்கின்றது. இதன் முதலாவது நிகழ்வு எதிர்வரும் யூன் மாதம் 20 ம் திகதி,2015  சனிக்கிழமை பிற்பகல் மூன்று மணிக்கு நல்லூரில் அமைந்துள்ள நாவலர் கலாசார மண்டபத்தில் நடைபெறவுள்ளது.

Solo theate festivaal -2015

யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில் ஓராள் அரங்கத் திருவிழா வெற்றிகரமாக நடைபெற்று நிறைவடைந்துள்ளது. ஈழத்தின் நாடக வரலாற்றில் முதல் முறையாக நடைபெற்ற தனியன்களின் ஆற்றுகைகள் பல ஒன்றாக ஓர்இடத்தில் ஒரு திருவிழாவாக நடைபெற்றுள்ளது. இது ஒரு அற்புதமான உணர்வு இருபத்தினான்கு தனியன்கள் ஒவ்வொன்றும் பத்து நிமிடங்கள் கொண்ட அற்புதமான நாடகங்களைத் தந்திருந்தார்கள். இதில் சிறப்பம்சம் என்னவென்றால். இருபத்தினான்கு வகையான ஆளிக்கை முறைமைகளைக் பார்க்கக் கிடைத்தது என்பதாகும்.
